Tamizh Ponni VP is an ambivert who loves to express her skills through literature,visual arts and music . She has worked as an IB educator for 7 years and is currently pursuing her M.Tech, PhD integrated course in Data Science. Tamizh sees learning as a never-ending process and with technology integration, it gives her an interesting dimension to knowledge acquisition and skill-building. Her stories were featured in 2 anthology books, "Mia" and "Varna". Tamizh's articles, poems and paintings have also been published in many digital journals and educational blogs.Tamizh spends most of her free time painting, reading, writing articles, stories and poems, playing keyboard and watching documentaries/movies.

With Legs like a Fish and a Broken Wing, Snow White and Rose Red faced many challenges throughout out their lives: Physical, Mental, and Emotional, yet remained strong. They are still friends to this day. ​

She was a winner of the 2016 ‘A Public Space’ Emerging Writer Fellowship, the 2019 Pen to Paper Awards, and the 2022 Stephen Palmer Travel Bursary. Her work has featured in a wide range of journals, magazines, exhibitions, and public commissions, including the international Shape Open 2020 and IAN Australia 2021. She is currently an Associate Artist for Disability Arts Online. Sasha’s lived experience of disability and impairment is a major influence on her work.

The Autumn Witch

In times of Olde, it could be Told, the sound of the Autumn Witch Cry-
her broken Heart had been ripped Apart, and left to wonder Why. 

Tears fell with Ease, like golden Leaves, just with a single Touch-
to live Forever, and be Together, was that really asking so Much?
The years had Passed, with her beauty Fast, as she looked into the Stream-
“Where have they gone, my family and friends? All of it seems but a Dream.” 

The ones on Earth have moved along, to a place we can only Imagine- 
but as she Wept, nearby he Slept, an old and true Companion.
He awoke to her Crying of loved ones Dying, and encompassed her with Love-
Light shone through the tall and ageing trees, mixed softly with songs of Doves.

“I am still here,” he quietly Said, and lent his shoulder to rest her Head.
With arms like a bear, and heart of a lion, he gently took her Tears-
“It's my Belief," he said with Grief, "and if it helps our Fears, 
that once we’re born unto this place, we never truly Die-
hence in the end, all are one, and the mind’s Dust becomes the Sky.”

The Clever Witch

In Fables of long ago, the story of The Clever Witch was well known, but only to the few that were aware, and afraid. She was famously successful in her Trickery of Luring Children into the Forest by pretending to be a Rabbit, thus earning their trust.

“Follow me now, my little Kiddies, let us walk quick, it’s easy to Flee-
down Pathways, past Hobbles, to hop over Gnomes,
through Thickets with Brambles, tromp Bridges of Stone.
No one will know where my Lair does Rest, but I will tell you, it’s surely the Best!”
